Migration, asylum and integration processes are long and often complicated by bureaucracy, borders, waiting, and exclusion. The eight publication of the dissertation series explores the embodiment of time, space, and discourse in externalised borders, protracted and complex asylum processes, and continued vulnerability after residence permit has been granted.
The publication discusses the following theses:
- At the Border – EU Law, Asylum and the Spatialities of Fundamental Rights
Kristina Wejstål, 2024 - Time Warps: Refugees and the Experience of Waiting in Rural Sweden
Rikard Engblom, 2023 - Desirable Victims: Systems of Refugee Selection in Swedish and Canadian Migration Governing
Andreas Lundstedt, 2023 - Vindlande vägar i bostadsojämlikhetens Sverige: berättelser om marknadspraktiker, flyktingplaceringspolitik och bostadsprekaritet.
