Constanza Vera-Larrucea holds a PhD in Political Sciences from Stockholm University. She defended her PhD thesis Citizenship by Citizens: First generation Nationals with Turkish ancestry on lived citizenship in Paris and Stockholm in 2013. Her research interests are citizenship – legal status and subjective approach – integration, immigrants’ descendants, social movements and political participation. Her postdoc study investigated dual citizens’ transnational practices. Constanza Vera-Larrucea has previously worked in CEIFO (the Centre for International Migration and Ethnic Relations, Stockholm University) as a research assistant for the international project TIES (The integration of the European Second Generation).
