In the spirit of the Swedish EU presidency, the Migration Studies Delegation (Delmi) and the European Migration Network (EMN) in Sweden invite to a half day conference to learn more about the preconditions, experiences, and challenges behind the Temporary Protection Directive.

The conference is directed to practitioners, migration experts, academics but also civil society and media actors interested in asylum conditions in Europe.

PANEL III: AFTER THE TPD: WHAT TO EXPECT AND HOW TO PREPARE

  • Presentation of Delmi Policy Brief Legal migration for work and training - Mobility options to Sweden for those not in need of protection. Presenter: Bernd Parusel, Senior researcher at the Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies (SIEPS).
  • Future scenarios and experiences from Estonia and Poland. Presenters: Annika Murov, Migration expert, European Migration Network Estonian Contact Point, Tomasz Cytrynowicz, Director of the Bureau of the Head of the Office for Foreigners and Member of the EMN Steering Board.
