Anna is a lawyer and political scientist who works as Deputy Legal Director at the Swedish Migration Agency. She has previously worked at the Swedish Migration Agency's office of the Director General as a special advisor, been chief lawyer at the Swedish Refugee Law Center and legal expert at the Swedish Migration Agency's Legal Affairs department, where she was responsible for children's issues, among other things. Anna has also worked for a long time with matters concerning asylum and residence permits, both as a legal representative for asylum seekers and other migrants and as a decision-maker and litigation officer at the Swedish Migration Agency. In her role as a representative, she has run several international processes.
