Anna Hammarstedt holds a PhD in International Relations from Stockholm University and defended her thesis in 2022. Her research focuses on how different state employees relate (both in theory and in practice), to asylum seekers that abscond/disappear during the asylum seeking process. Anna has previously worked at the Swedish Migration Agency.
