Participants include Sweden's Migration Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard, Swedish Migration Agency's Director General Mikael Ribbenvik. The conference keynote speakers are Koko Warner, Director, Global Data Institute, International Organization for Migration (IOM), and Rainer Münz, Professor, Central European University, who has written the reserach overview "Climate Change, Displacement, Mobility and Migration" for Delmi. 

Committee chairman at Delmi, Joakim Palme, leads the panel during day one which deals with practical examples of how climate change affects migration. The second panel takes a long-term perspective on migration and the challenges of predicting climate-related migration. The panel is moderated by the researcher Bernd Parusel, who among other things has written "Legal migration for studies and work" for Delmi.

Conference day two focuses on contemporary management of the effects of climate change in relation to migration. During the day, among others, François Gemenne, who wrote the Delmi report ”The impacts of migration for adaptation and vulnerability”, will participate.
